At its physical meeting in Geneva, the RCP discussed collaboration and joint follow-up on a number of issues of common concern:

  • The UN response in HDP nexus contexts and regional support to UN Country Teams 
  • The global development context: Accelerating SDG progress at regional and national levels following the 2023 SDG Summit and ahead of the 2024 Summit of the Future  
  • The status of climate change policies and the UN’s role in strengthening climate action   
  • Shaping regional support for SDG acceleration in 2024 
  • Preparations for the 2024 Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (RFSD)
  • Preparations for the Regional Review of the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly, and Regular Migration (GCM)
