Webinar on climate-migration nexus with a focus on just and green transition

In response to a request by the Resident Coordinator's Office and UN Country Team in Turkmenistan, the IBC Environment and Climate Change organized a webinar on the climate-migration nexus, with a focus on a just green transition. ILO and IOM jointly led the organization of the event. Experts from IOM and ILO unpacked the concept of climate-migration nexus, and relevant global policy frameworks, specifically focusing on how climate change impacts human mobility and labour migration as well as good examples from different programme countries in terms of mainstreaming them into UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework processes.
