Use of geospatial technologies and AI for analysis – Kyrgyzstan

Following an RCO/UNCT request to the IBC through the Regional Collaborative Platform (RCP), this event allows for expert presentations and detailed discussions around the use of geospatial data / AI for environmental monitoring and assessments. The expert team will brief the UNCT on practical uses of the Atlas and its’ underpinning data and GeoPortal.

The specific request from the UNCT relates to ‘Regional Climate Data and Early Warning Systems: presenting the best cases of the cross-border climate risk assessment tools and harmonized early warning systems; Supporting the exploration of geospatial technologies and AI for predictive analytics in disaster preparedness.’

This event will take advantage of the launch of the Atlas in Bishkek and the presence of our Geographical Information System (GIS) expert team. A large part of the meeting is dedicated to discussions enabling UNCT members to explore this topic in much more detail.
